Ebony Wright, LPC is a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist and the founder of R.I.S.E. Counseling & Consulting Services, LLC. While she no longer accepts clients for individual outpatient therapy, Ebony has shifted her focus to cultivating the next generation of competent counselors. Through clinical supervision, mentoring, and training, she is committed to helping Residents in Counseling build their skills, confidence, and expertise in mental health care. Her approach emphasizes professional growth, ethical practice, and compassionate client care, ensuring that her residents are well-prepared to thrive in their careers.

Scope of Practice as a Clinical Supervisor:

• Provides clinical supervision to Residents in Counseling working toward licensure.
• Reviews cases handled by Residents and provides guidance on clinical interventions.
• Assists Residents in developing counseling skills and understanding ethical/legal standards through professional mentorship.
• Ensures that residents adhere to ethical practices and legal guidelines established by the Virginia Board of Counseling.
• Evaluates the performance and growth of Residents, offering feedback and ensuring their competency.
• Participates in ongoing training to stay current with best practices in clinical supervision and counseling.
